Still, I received a lot of push notifications, mostly from cars passing by or stopping at the stop sign some 75 to 100 feet away. Turning it on can also block the device from your local network if you use MAC filtering on your router. FING and my router report the correct MAC for my iThings as I don’t have the privacy option flipped when I’m connected to my home network. The app is useless without cameras obviously. The cameras are useless without SD cards and the subscription, which is not cheap. I am impressed with the night and low light filters. I am not impressed with the sound quality mostly and the camera resolution is pretty awful.
For example, to turn off Wyze Bulbs or Wyze Switch, just say "Hey Google, turn off the lights." Set motion detection zones so you only capture events when they happen in the area you’ve chosen.
